Yamaha Music Philippines (YMPH) joined Musik Manila Expo 2026, held August 13–15 at the World Trade Center Metro Manila, bringing together musicians, audio professionals, educators, industry partners, influencers, and music enthusiasts for three days of music, product discovery, technical learning, and live performance.
At Yamaha Booths B1–C1, visitors experienced Yamaha products through the Touch & Try area, interactive activities, product demonstrations, and artist engagements. Yamaha Artists Paolo Gans and Aquila Packing showcased the TAG3C TransAcoustic Guitar and Clavinova CLP-875, respectively, while Yuuki Shimada demonstrated Yamaha portable keyboards and digital pianos. Yamaha Artists Mally Paraguya of P.O.T. and Rickson Ruiz also visited the Yamaha booth, while influencer Skygarden delivered a special live performance that added another memorable moment to the Yamaha experience.
The ProAudio industry experts Jun Lim, Marci Sang-olan, and Rico Bicol, shared practical insights on gain structure and staging, DSP and networked audio, loudspeaker measurement using dual-channel FFT, and audio live streaming for churches.
A significant industry milestone was the Audio Engineering Roadmap to Education in the Philippines, presented by Homer Sajonia, followed by the Ceremonial Signing of the Joint Industry Resolution on the Audio Engineering Curriculum, a historic initiative supporting the advancement of audio engineering education in the country.
Yamaha also formalized its partnership with Audio Video Solutions Corporation (AVSC), strengthening its industry network and expanding access to Yamaha solutions. The partnership reflects Yamaha’s continued commitment to collaboration and innovation, expanding access to professional Yamaha solutions while supporting the evolving needs of the Philippine audio industry.
The expo culminated in the highly anticipated Perf de Castro × Nikko Rivera collaboration at Activity Area A, drawing a massive crowd and delivering a powerful and memorable finale to the Yamaha experience.
Reflecting on YMPH’s participation in Musik Manila Expo, Yuta Hiraga, President of Yamaha Music Philippines, shared his perspective on the event’s evolution and Yamaha’s growing presence in the Philippine music community.
“Having observed Music Manila’s evolution since 2019, I’ve seen a clear transformation since YMPH joined in 2023. What was once confined to professional sound equipment and audio engineers has expanded into an inclusive space where artists and music enthusiasts alike gather to experience both audio technology and musical instruments.
This year, we placed a strong emphasis on brand engagement alongside hands-on product experiences. As a result, we received overwhelming positive feedback, with visitors telling us, ‘Yamaha is truly number one,’ and ‘The content was exceptional—we enjoyed both the physical products and the experience itself.’ Seeing such a response after just three years since our establishment is a testament to how far we’ve come as a team.
Every employee felt the incredible potential of this market firsthand, inspiring a renewed sense of pride in working for Yamaha.”
Musik Manila Expo 2026 brought together an estimated 20,000 trade visitors and 120 exhibiting companies, creating a valuable platform for music industry professionals, businesses, and technology providers to connect and explore the latest developments across the industry. The scale of this exhibition has continued to grow year by year, particularly since Yamaha Music Philippines began participating in 2023, and it has established itself as the Philippines' only large-scale trade show for the industry.
Through product innovation, education, industry partnerships, and unforgettable performances, Yamaha Music Philippines continued to Connect. Create. Perform. and Make Waves at Musik Manila Expo 2026.
