Yamaha Music Philippines (YMPH) successfully held Yamaha Audioversity Cavite 2026, a one-day professional audio event on May 19, 2026, at the La Mariposa Tagaytay Events Place, Mendez-Tagaytay Rd, Tagaytay City, Cavite.

Held just one day in South Luzon, the event welcomed 118 participants representing a diverse range of organizations, including churches, audio and lighting rental companies, production houses, educational institutions, local government units (LGUs), hospitality venues, recording studios, broadcast and media organizations, corporate AV teams, and independent audio professionals.

The program started with a Yamaha business introduction by Paolo Bersales, Pro Audio Supervisor, discussing the brief background of the company and a preview of the Yamaha proaudio available in the Philippines.

Guest Speaker Mr. Marion Ceasar Montano, DLS-CSB Music Production alumnus and freelance sound engineer who has worked with Filipino artists such as Zack Tabudlo, IV of Spades, Sponge Cola, Itchyworms, Illest Morena, discussed Modern Live Sound Techniques with YAMAHA DM7

Speaker shootout of Yamaha DBR, DZR, DXR, DHR SERIES was also conducted by the Yamaha ProAudio team to show the attendees the quality of Yamaha’s Speakers.

Roland Benid, Audio System Design Engineer, also contributed to the audio system setup and technical expertise during the speaker shootout.

The key highlights of the event were the presentation and demonstration of the MGX Series by Warren Joshua Iglesia, Audio B2B Sales Associate, and DM7 by John Erick Cruz, Audio B2C Sales Supervisor.

During the presentation of the MGX Series, the Yamaha Pacifica Standard was used together with MGX12V, demonstrating the built-in guitar FX feature.

Guest Speaker Mr. Gerard Paul Jalandoni Elviña, The Audio ArchiTec, an audio engineer, educator, and creative industry leader serving as the COO and Partner of CreatiSound. discussed The Art of Choosing the right loudspeaker.

Participants also had the opportunity to take part in hands-on demonstrations of the Yamaha ProAudio products, speaker listening sessions, and interactive discussions with Yamaha specialists and fellow audio professionals.

The Audioversity Cavite event successfully introduced Yamaha Pro Audio to prospective partners in South Luzon, increasing product awareness, providing valuable learning opportunities, and deepening participants' understanding of Yamaha’s products, vision, and “Make Waves” philosophy. The event also strengthened their interest in Yamaha Pro Audio solutions.
